Our Nerdy Adventures
Jurassic World Adventure
This was such a fun adventure for Timmy! He has loved Jurassic Park for so long. We started the journey with going on a ship to Isla Morada, once you get off the boat you are immediately greeted by the gates of Jurassic World. The first dinosaur you will see is a brontosaurus, and it is amazing. The detail in all of the dinosaurs is just beyond anything you could imagine. The journey through Jurassic Park takes you to see so many different varieties of dinosaurs. The immersion and commitment of the employees makes this such a great experience. My favorite ones were the baby dinosaurs, they were just the cutest thing. Make sure you go to this exhibition when it is near you!

La Brea Tar Pits Adventure
Going to more museums is something I am determined to do. There are so many things to learn in the world, and so much history everywhere you go. I had been to the La Brea Tar Pits when I was in second grade, but I vaguely remember. Timmy had never been, and it was my birthday so I chose to go to the Tar Pits. The museum was much smaller than I remembered as a second grader, but there were so many skeletons displayed from the Tar Pits. Our favorite was the full buffalo skeleton. You are also able to test your strength against the tar! Timmy was the winner (shocker) and was able to get both the small dipstick and the large dipstick out of the tar. Good to know he could save me, but he would be a goner! Make sure you walk around outside the museum to see the actual tar pits, the bubbling is crazy to see especially since it is all natural.

Ex-Cast Member Disneyland Adventure
Going to Disneyland is always a special time with Timmy. This was one of the last pairs of complimentary tickets I have and sharing them with Timmy is one of the best things. On this trip we were able to try some new things we had never tried before, and that is rare for an ex-Cast Member and an ex-Annual Passholder. Right when we got there we walked to the newly remodeled Toon Town to just walk around, and Mickey's Runaway Railway was coming back on from a little breakdown, we waited 20 minutes to get on a brand new ride! It was very cool to be able to share a brand new ride with Timmy. After Toon Town we walked to Adventureland to go on the Jungle Cruise. The jokes from the skippers always crack me up, and it was the first time we had been on this ride together. From Adevntureland we walked to New Orleans Square, our favorite spot in Disneyland. We always like to go on the classic ride, Haunted Mansion. On this trip we also decided we were going to try food we had never had before. We split some kabobs from Bengal Barbeque, we had Tigger Tails from Pooh's Corner, we had blue milk in Batuu, and we shared a Ronto Wrap. We definitely recommend splitting everything you want to eat, we were able to try so much more food and we saved a lot of money as well!

WE ARE ENGAGED!!
After 4 years, it finally happened. Timmy proposed to me on his birthday and he got the best present ever. ME forever!
It was so cute to me because we became boyfriend and girlfriend officially on my birthday four years ago.
